that may make a big difference in cutting out errant clicks and even your AdSense revenue. They’ve redefined the clickable region for Google AdSense from the entire boxed region, to just the text link.

Although Google has filters to detect outright click fraud, unintentionally clicking on an ad region may be a less insidious yet hard to detect cause of wasted ad dollars. Last year, Google and Yahoo got into hot water over allegations of click fraud and eventually agreed to an independent audit. Google also wound up paying $90 million in a settlement, a small fraction of any potential earnings from fraud, but a wake up call for them nonetheless.

The script code breaks for some template scripts but its nothing major. CTR is fine at about 0.3% for an articles directory and it could be higher if it allows better targeting as the contextual option doesn’t seem to be working. A few webmasters in the entertainment niche has reported excellent results.

What concerns me and many others is if MPire(WidgetBucks is backed by Mpire) can sustain this high CPC. I suspect that it will go down in the near future. I wonder how Mpire can sustain the PPC costs with whatever deals they have with the merchants, especially as most of the traffic will not be pre-sold and will have low conversion rates.

It will be interesting to see how will this one develop and for the moment I will keep my widgets installed.

At least looking at the WidgetBucks accounts page will keep me happy.

Google will start offering YouTube videos as part of the Adsense Program starting Tuesday, according to several reports.

The Adsense “Video units” will display two kinds of advertising, ads contextual to the site and ads contextual to the video being played. Adsense users will not be able to pick from any YouTube video, but only videos from content providers who have signed an agreement with YouTube. Any revenue earned on the video will be split three ways between the site owner, content creator, and Google itself.

Although Google has previously offered video advertising on Adsense, and YouTube has previously been experimenting with video advertising, the new offering will be the first time Google has blended ads with YouTube content for display on third party affiliated sites.

The natural conclusion is that the move is part of Google’s efforts to get better returns from YouTube following their acquisition of the web’s most popular video sharing site in October 2006 for $1.65 billion.

Simply embed a snippet of code and have relevant YouTube partner content streamed to your site. You can choose categories of video to target to your site, select content from individual YouTube partners, or have video automatically targeted to your site content. Companion and text overlay ads are relevant and non-intrusive. To further blend the YouTube player into your site, you can also customize the color scheme and layout as well as choose from three different player sizes.

If you’re looking to build “stickiness” with your visitors, show quality YouTube partner video on your site, and earn extra revenue along the way, and want to know more, then review our common questions about video units. You can also check out the video below to see how it works.

AdBrite is an internet ad market.

Advertisers can buy Text ads, Active Interstitial, and Banners from over 20,000 publishers, so you won’t have any trouble finding sites that match your campaign’s goals.

Publishers can choose to review each ad before it appears on their site. They can set the price for ads bought directly on Their site. They can even have Adbrite show another ad network (your Google AdSense ads, Burst, etc.) if they can’t meet your minimum revenue requirement.

At first when i saw they send only checks NET 60 days i was thinking not to use them, but they said the 60 day are necessary to ensure that they protect against credit card fraud.

“If a credit card has been used inappropriately, we usually find out about it within 60 days. By paying net-60, we’re able to issue a refund to the legit cardholder without any problems.”So that is good for us too.

So i did joined them, took the code and put it on my sites, the results didn’t take much to come. After 2 weeks i had already sold 3 Links for a week, the advertisers started to buy monthly links .Not bad, especially that i started slow, the price wasn’t to big.You should do the same don’t ask for a lot first take it slow and rise your prices in time.

So slowly but sure my revenue started to grow up much more then with others.

Of course when you set up your ad zone you have the choice to allow network ads to run, until you sell something.

What % cut does Adbrite take out from my earnings?
The revenue share is 70/30. The publisher (us) gets 70% and Adbrite takes out 30% of our earnings.

Can you format Adbrite ads to match the look and feel of my blog?
Yes - you can alter the formatting of the text in the snippet of code Adbrite gives you.

Can I have Adbrite’s Network ads and Adsense on my blog?

Adbrite network ads and Adsense were allowed on the same pages. Adbrite ads are keyword targeted and not contextual. The AdSense terms only restrict the use of contextual ads. So Adbrite are non-competitive and users can run both AdBrite and AdSense ads on the same page. While the Adbrite description in the setup section says that turning on network ads makes it function more like a traditional ad network, the underlying technology is different allowing Adbrite to work in conjunction with AdSense.

You should give them a try,i tell you:you won’t regret.:)

You need only a small amount of cash to launch a PPC ad campaign for your web site and online products. Of course there are certain things you will need to do to ensure that your PPC ad campaign is as profitable as possible. You will have to ensure that at the very least, it returns more money than what you have paid for the advertising.

For many online business beginners who advertise with PPC ads are able to start enjoying some traffic immediately. PPC ads have been a very cost effective web promotion tool that has worked miracles for many online business beginners.

It will help for you to have gathered as much data as possible about your site, prior to launching your PPC ad campaign. Critical data is for instance how many hits you require to make a sale. Some sites need about 200 visitors on average before they register a sale while others require 700. It varies widely and also depends a lot on how you have designed and set up your site, apart from the pricing of your products and services.

Once you have your numbers, it will be easy to tell whether your PPC ad campaign has a good chance of returning a profit or not. Returning a profit is critical because it means that you will be able to start with a small amount of cash and rapidly expand your ad budget regularly to produce even higher sales and profits. It also means that you can quickly expand your PPC ad campaign to cover many other products within a very short period of time.

This is precisely what has made PPC advertising so popular online and it is also the reason why the World Wide Web is now attracting a lot of advertising dollars away from traditional offline media. Clearly it is virtually impossible to duplicate this kind of arrangement in the bricks and mortar world where advertisers pay only for response to their ads.

The other thing you will need to be very careful about is the actual writing of your PPC ads – especially the headlines. Remember that is also very possible to have PPC ads that people hardly click. Although it means that the advertiser loses nothing because they don’t pay until somebody clicks on the ad, it can greatly slow down a PPC ad campaign and with it the success and prosperity of the advertiser.

Despite the power that PPC ads have online, there is no doubt that many people greatly underestimate its’ power while many others have no idea at all of what this amazing marketing tool is capable of doing or achieving for them. The math or numbers behind PPC advertising are amazing and this clearly indicates why many webmasters favor this internet marketing tool over many others, more so when it comes to looking for quick results.

PPC, also known as pay-per-click is probably one of the fastest ways to increase your affiliate earnings.

We offer very important information for those new to pay-per-click to get their start but veterans of PPC will also find it helpful to remind themselves of the fundamentals.

-First of all you should do your own keyword research.

This is a very important step in PPC marketing.

In you want quality traffic to your website, which will result in sales; you must know which keyword phrases to bid on. You can sign up for WordTracker, or use Google’s free keyword tool.

-The best advice though is to know your audience. This way you can create ads that target keyword phrases that those in your market would be likely to search with.

PPC is one of those games that have ever changing rules; so consider the advice of others. It’s unlikely to become an expert unless you keep up with those who already are now in the game. Read “how to” books, subscribe to newsletters that offer information on the topic. It’s also wise for veterans to keep an open mind.-You need to know what ads are working, so, maybe the most important step is testing.

Testing lets you know what is working and what isn’t. You may also want to consider an ad tracker service that lets you see which ads are converting into sales and which ones are sucking your revenue.

-More traffic will increase your probability of sales but there’s no point in drawing thousands of visitors if they don’t buy your products. Traffic is not the name of the game here. If you sped 100$ buying visitors from a pay per click engine and you sale only two products, you spent 50$/sale.

Spend your time targeting traffic that will result in clicks that result in sales otherwise you are wasting your advertising budget. Test your ads to avoid losing money. Create a different campaign for each keyword; create a few ads in the beginning and measure their success before bidding on more keywords.

You should keep an eye on your visitors as knowing where they are coming from, how long they stay and if their visits result in sales will minimize your click fraud experiences.
